Dear Parents,
The 2012 soccer seasons is kicking off soon and we hope to have a successful season for all teams. We would like to extend a welcome to our registered players from last year as well as any friends (boys or girls) they wish to introduce to Doveton Junior Soccer Club for Registration Day 2012.
Registration Day will be held on Sunday 12th February 2012 from 12noon to 3.00pm
Everyone is asked to come along and enjoy a Sausage Sizzle, (comprising of Halal meat) organize and pay your registrations as well as catch up with your friends and teammates from last year.
Fees have been set and this will include shorts, socks and playing shirt which the players will get to keep at the end of the season. There will be new shirts again for all the teams this year and as they are all part of the fees each person pays, for a player to be able to participate in a game their fees will need to have been fully paid so that a shirt could be ordered and provided for them in time for the first games. Unfortunately if fees have not been fully paid, this will result in players not having been registered nor will they have a shirt to play in. Please support us in this endeavor. We all have the same responsibilities towards finalizing our fees – there will be no exceptions.
Teams and fees for 2012
Under 6’s to 9’s (Small Sided Games) Registration Fee $ 210.00#
Under 10’s & 11’s (Small Sided Games) Registration Fee $ 300.00#
Under 12’s to 18’s Registration Fee $ 360.00#
# These amounts apply to payment made in full by 31st March. A $50 late fee will be added to any outstanding fees after this date making the fees $260 for U6 – 9’s, $360 for U10 and 11 and $410 for U12 – 16’s.
We would prefer full payment of fees on registration day but will accept a minimum $100 deposit with the balance paid in full by 31st March. It is important that fees are paid as soon as possible so we can order and pay for the playing strips and training equipment for the players. Payment plans can be made in cases of true financial hardship with regular weekly or fortnightly payments being made. Please speak to a committee member as soon as possible if you need to arrange a payment plan.

Assistance required
As with any event, people’s contribution is necessary and we seek assistance on registration day in a number of areas as well as throughout the year. Please contact a committee member to let them know how you can be of help – even if it is just for registration day.
Registration forms
The Football Federation Victoria now has an online registration system that they prefer clubs and players to use instead of paper forms. If you have access to the internet you can register your child with our club online before you come along on registration day to save you having to fill out a paper form. Instructions on how to use the online registration system have been included with this letter. We would appreciate it if as many players in U10 to U16 as possible register online but we understand that not all players will have access to internet so paper forms will be available at registration day for those players. U6 to U9 are not required to register online, paper forms will be available on registration day.
