Doveton under 14B played at home to Seaford United, in a tough game, especially with promotion at stake for the second-place Seaford United and their “win at all cost” coaching team!
Coming off 4 undefeated games (2 wins and 2 draws), the boys were confident of a win, especially after the narrow loss (1-0) in the away game.
The game had only been going for 15 minutes and the score was 0-0 at the time the game was abandoned.
The referee stopped the game due to the aggressive abuse he was receiving from the Seaford coaching Staff and the insults that were also targeted towards some of Doveton players!
The FFV will deliberate regarding the outcome of the match and the penalties towards Seaford’s coaching staff, in the meantime the result is still undecided.
